The 7th International Conference on Linux Clusters: The HPC Revolution 2006 is organized by the Linux Clusters Institute (LCI) for users and administrators of clusters for high-performance computing.

The HPC Revolution 2006 is the premier international forum to share information on management, administration, and scientific computing techniques on Linux-based systems for high-performance computing. The conference will feature speakers from academia, research labs, and industry involved in cluster-based high-performance computing. These speakers will address efforts to integrate and develop science and engineering applications for Linux-based HPC systems in order to achieve maximum performance and scalability.

The conference program committee is soliciting novel papers, practical tutorials, and insightful technical presentations on a broad range of topics related to systems integration, operation and support, end-user applications, tools, and experiences.

Papers
Submission:	December 23, 2005	You are invited to submit novel papers for consideration by the Program Committee. It is expected that papers will fall into one of two paper tracks: Applications and Tools, and Systems. Proposed papers will be selected on the basis of an extended abstract of 5 to 8 pages. Paper abstract submissions must be accompanied by the required information listed below and must be submitted via email to lci-conf-papers@ncsa.uiuc.edu in plain text, PDF, or Microsoft Word format. If accepted, your paper will be published and distributed to conference attendees in CD-ROM format.

Tutorials
Submission:	January 13, 2006	You are invited to submit tutorial proposals for consideration by the Program Committee. Tutorials can come from a variety of areas but should provide practical information and/or training for the HPC cluster and the MPP community. Those interested in submitting tutorials for consideration should prepare a 2- to 3-page description. Tutorial proposals containing the information listed below must be submitted via e-mail to lci-conf-papers@ncsa.uiuc.edu in plain text, PDF, or Microsoft Word format.	Title A brief description of the tutorial An outline of the topics to be covered Duration (indicate one): Half-day or full-day For each author provide: Name Institution email phone short CV Tutorials will be presented in half-day and full-day sessions on the day preceding the technical program of the conference. If accepted, your tutorial materials will be made available to attendees in a printed format.

Presentations
Submission:	January 27, 2006	You are invited to submit abstracts proposing presentations on interesting technical presentations for consideration by the Program Committee. Technical presentations can come from a variety of areas and will be grouped by similar subject matter in the conference program. Those interested in submitting technical presentations for consideration should prepare a 2- to 3-page abstract. Technical presentation abstract submissions must be accompanied by the required information listed below and must be submitted via email to lci-conf-papers@ncsa.uiuc.edu in plain text, PDF, or Microsoft Word format.
