The 19th LCI International Workshop on
High-Performance Clustered Computing

October 6-10, 2008
IBM Executive Briefing Center
Montpellier, France

The LCI has a rich history of leading the way with creative solutions and innovations in high-performance computing. In this setting, professionals from around the world will gather to share their experiences building and running on some of the world's largest clusters. They will envision the future and how petascale-computing technologies can shape it at the IBM Executive Briefing Center in Montpellier, France, October 6-10, 2008, for the 19th LCI International Workshop on High-Performance Clustered Computing.

The workshop is a five-day event offering state-of-the-art, hands-on experiences in high-performance clustered computing, industry-leading representatives presenting roadmaps, and experiences from some of the sites with the largest clusters in the world. The program focuses on applications, tools, user environments and administration of large-scale clustered systems across a vast array of sectors. The workshop instructors are the world's top practitioners of clustered computing who will share their experiences and provide the latest developments in the field.

With the advent of the petascale-computing era, workshop instructors will focus on issues related to petascale computing, which include state-of-the-art aspects of clustered computing — developing the hardware, software environment and applications needed to reach petascale levels. Experts will focus on the near-term activities taking this community along that path. This year, vendor participation will highlight the contribution of various companies to the rapidly expanding field of clustered computing.  Special hands-on exercises will use both local and remote Linux and Windows clusters interconnected with Infiniband and other interconnects to illustrate issues taught in the workshop and allow flexible time to explore and experiment setting up and running applications on clusters.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend. The 19th LCI International Workshop on High-Performance Clustered Computing is the one workshop where you will simultaneously solve your problems, expand your knowledge, and aquire hands-on experience.

LCI is the premier international forum to share information on management, administration, and scientific computing techniques for high-performance computing. Founded in 2000, it includes some of the world's foremost specialists in building and deploying clustered high-performance computing systems.

LCI workshops fill quickly, so participants are encouraged to register early.

Note: The LCI reserves the right to cancel workshops for any reason.
