Travel Info
The 8th LCI Conference will be held in the Embassy Suites Hotel. The closest airport is the Reno/Tahoe International Airport in Reno, Nevada. This airport is serviced by all maor airlines, including Southwest and Frontier.

There is an hourly bus service from the airport that goes directly to the Embassy Suites Hotel. The South Tahoe Express is located at the far end of the baggage claim area. Reservations are required. 1.866.898.2463 or through their Web site.

The bus service is the most convenient way to get to the conference hotel. The hotel itself has an Avis rental car location; so attendees who are interested in renting a car to explore the Tahoe area during Wednesday afternoon might wish to use the bus service from the airport and rent a car at the hotel for just the afternoon.

Traveling by car from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport:

  1. Exit the airport following Route 395 South.
  2. About 7.5 miles after the airport, 395 South exits the main roadway. Take this exit and stay on 395 South as it makes its way through Carson City.

  4. About 37.5 miles from the airport after traveling through Carson City, Route 50 will turn right and climb into the Tahoe Basin. Stay on 50 as it travels around the eastern side of the lake. As you approach South Lake Tahoe, you will pass by several casinos.
  5. At the traffic light at the Cal./Nev. state line, immediately after passing Harvey's and Harrah's turn right onto the Embassy Suites property. Free parking is behind the hotel (shared with the casinos).

Traveling by car from the San Francisco International Airport:
